Dolapo Omidire
Chief Executive Officer
Dolapo Omidire is the founder and chief executive of Estate Intel, a Lagos-based real estate and construction data company that has been described as Africa's Bloomberg terminal for real estate. He started Estate Intel as a real estate research blog while working full time as a real estate research executive, and by 2017 he had left his job to build it into a company; he has also written for the World Economic Forum as a Lagos-based real estate research analyst. Estate Intel collects and updates data in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, Tanzania, Zambia and Angola, tracking cities including Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Casablanca, Cairo, Lusaka and Dar es Salaam, and its databank covers more than 1.15 million housing units and nearly seven million square metres of office space, serving institutional investors, governments, developers and contractors. The company counts Google and MetaProp among its funders, and in 2019 Omidire won Techpoint's Pitch Storm competition, which carried a prize of 10,000 US dollars.
