Dalal Ibrahim Al-Qahtani is an accomplished academic and researcher specialising in computer engineering and artificial intelligence. She serves as an Assistant Professor at the College of Computer Science and Information Systems at Najran University. She holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from The George Washington University in the United States, in addition to a BSc in Computer Science from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. Her research interests span artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, cloud and quantum computing, and distributed systems, with particular focus on developing intelligent models to enhance computing system performance, predict workload patterns, optimise resource allocation, and improve task-scheduling decisions across cloud and edge computing environments. Beyond her academic and research activities, she is committed to leveraging artificial intelligence to advance digital transformation, business automation, intelligent agents, data analytics, and decision support systems, and to translating emerging and complex technologies into practical, scalable solutions that create meaningful value for organisations and society while bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world application.
