Alfredo Serrano

Alfredo Serrano is Director of EMEA at Sceye, a US aerospace company advancing stratospheric technology to connect people and protect the planet, building high-altitude platform systems (HAPS) for stratospheric infrastructure. He leads Sceye's commercial expansion across Europe and the Middle East, develops strategic alliances with major industrial partners, and works with the company's leadership on investor relations and funding strategy. He began his career at Motorola in R&D centres in the United States and Ireland, contributing to the development of GSM, the digital cellular standard, and then led network deployments across Southern and Eastern Europe and Latin America. He went on to hold senior leadership roles in telecom software, digital services and connected mobility companies, and over the past decade has focused on early-stage deep-tech ventures and business development across EMEA. He holds an MSc in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a master's degree in Digital Transformation Strategy from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
