Abdulaziz Al-Shalhoob

Vice Dean, College of Business

Assistant professor of management and vice dean of the College of Business at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, where he oversees quality assurance, professional training and development, and research and innovation. He also holds an advisory role at the vice rectorate for institutional development and social responsibility. He holds a doctorate in management from Queen's University Belfast, with research examining corporate social responsibility activities and their impact on employee work-related attitudes in Saudi listed companies; he was among the first researchers in the Kingdom to pursue doctoral research on the subject through the lens of Vision 2030. His expertise spans corporate social responsibility, environmental, social and governance practice, academic leadership and organisational development, with deep familiarity with international frameworks including ISO 26000, the GRI standards and the United Nations sustainable development goals. Beyond his academic role he runs an independent consulting practice helping organisations align business strategy with responsible and sustainable practice.
