Abdelrahman Elsherif is Group Sustainability Manager at Agthia Group PJSC, the Abu Dhabi listed food and beverage company, where he oversees the group's ESG and sustainability strategy across seven countries and 21 factories. He came to the role after close to 15 years in the food and beverage industry spanning research and development, quality, continuous improvement and sustainability. He previously led sustainability and ESG for research and development in the eastern region at The Kraft Heinz Company and headed product development for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at the same company, and before that was category product development manager at Beyti and held roles with Nestle and Americana Foods. He holds an MBA from Paris ESLSCA Business School and a bachelor's degree in food technology from Cairo University.
