Wenbin Li is a Chinese neuro-oncologist and chief physician who directs the cancer centre and the neuro-oncology ward at Beijing Tiantan Hospital of Capital Medical University and heads the university's department of clinical oncology, and is deputy director of its National Institute of Health Data Science. His unit sees about 1,500 neuro-oncology patients a year; his clinical and research work centres on glioma and diffuse midline glioma. He has completed more than ten drug trials in glioma, including two phase I trials of innovative agents designated national priorities under the 13th Five-Year Plan, and is China's coordinating investigator for the international GBM AGILE platform trial; his team has run close to fifty innovative drug trials. He is vice chair of the glioma committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, standing committee member and general secretary of the glioma committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Asian Oncology Society academic committee, and an editorial board member of Cancer Innovation. In 2020 he was named in China's fourth cohort of National Famous Doctors.
