Timothy Hunt

Chief Executive Officer

Timothy Hunt is Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, the global advocacy organisation for the cell and gene therapy sector, a role he took on in 2022 after more than twenty years of biotechnology leadership experience. Before joining ARM he was Chief Culture and Corporate Affairs Officer at Xilio Therapeutics, and previously Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Editas Medicine, where he oversaw global policy, communications, bioethics, market development and human resources; he has also held senior roles at Cubist Pharmaceuticals and Biogen. He holds a BA in History and Philosophy from Boston College and a JD from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, sits on the board of the non-profit Life Science Cares, and has chaired the Ethics Committee of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy.
