Stephen Squinto is Chief Investment Officer of J.P. Morgan Life Science Private Capital, a platform within J.P. Morgan Asset Management that he joined in 2022 to invest in life-sciences and healthcare companies using the bank's global scale and healthcare data intelligence. He has had a thirty-five-year career in biotechnology and drug development, beginning as an early team member and company builder at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals before co-founding Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Global Operations Officer. Before joining J.P. Morgan, he spent eight years as an Executive Partner at OrbiMed Advisors, sitting on up to twenty company boards and serving as an executive for five portfolio companies. He holds a BA in Chemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Loyola University Chicago.
