Stasa Stankovic

Co-founder

Stasa Stankovic is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of OvartiX, a drug-discovery company that uses human multi-omics data and engineered ovarian disease models to develop new therapies for menopause, PCOS and infertility, which she co-founded alongside reproductive-genomics leaders Professor Anna Murray and Professor Eva Hoffmann. She holds a BSc from the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University and an MPhil and PhD in Reproductive Genomics from the University of Cambridge, where her research identified more than three hundred genetic signals influencing the age at which women begin menopause and provided some of the first evidence that reproductive lifespan and fertility could be extended through gene manipulation. She has been recognised as a McKinsey Next Generation Women Leader, won the International Menopause Society's Robert Greenblatt Award for the top investigator under forty, and been named among Barclays' Top 100 Women in Tech and one of the scientists Forbes has identified as shaping the future of menopause and reproductive-health innovation.
