Saad A. Aiban

Founder and General Manager of Technical Affairs

Saad A. Aiban is the founder and General Manager of Technical Affairs at Maeen Engineering Consultancy. He was formerly a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and has taken part in many national and international committees and conferences. He has authored and co-authored many papers published in prestigious refereed journals and conferences. He has wide experience in developing innovative solutions to complex civil engineering problems and repair works, with a focus on geotechnical engineering, and is an approved soil expert with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC). He has received several appreciation awards for research, teaching and community service, and provides consultancy to many local and international organisations in geotechnical engineering, the assessment and repair of infrastructure, and educational matters.
