Engineer Abdullah bin Muftir Al-Shamrani led the Saudi Geological Survey as Chief Executive Officer from November 2020, directing comprehensive geological surveys and resource exploration across Saudi Arabia. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Saud University and brings over 32 years of professional experience at SABIC, where he progressed through several leadership positions, chaired a number of affiliate companies and led the 2019 merger of Petrokemya and Sadaf.
