Anand J. Puppala

President

Anand Puppala serves as A.P. and Florence Wiley Chair of Zachry Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University and Director of its Center for Infrastructure Renewal, and is President of the ASCE Geo-Institute. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, continuing education and administration in public universities in Texas. His research covers the characterisation and stabilisation of expansive soils, the use and stabilisation of recycled materials in infrastructure, in-situ intrusive methods for site characterisation, remote sensing and UAV studies for health monitoring, and infrastructure resilience and sustainability.
