Roger Kitterman
Senior Vice President, Managing Partner
Roger Kitterman is Senior Vice President for Venture, Business Development and Licensing at Mass General Brigham and Managing Partner of Mass General Brigham Ventures. A co-founder of the fund, he joined at its founding in 2008 and helped build a portfolio of 55 companies with more than $450 million in assets under management. He also leads the intellectual property and business development and licensing teams across Mass General Brigham, responsible for commercialising output from more than $2 billion of annual research. He began his venture capital career with the $55 million Bulgarian-American Enterprise Fund, went on to serve as startup CEO of three venture-backed companies, founded Mass Medical Angels, and was previously a partner at Boston-area life science venture funds. He is also Executive Director of the Boston Biomedical Innovation Center, an NHLBI-funded programme. He holds an MBA in finance and business development from Columbia Business School and an AB from Harvard College.
