Pierre-Alain Ruffieux is Chief Operating Officer of Cytiva, having joined the company's executive team in July 2024 to orchestrate its global operations and supply chain, which processes an average of thirty thousand orders a month across more than eighty countries; he also holds the title of Group Executive for Bioprocess, addressing how the industry can scale cell and gene therapy manufacturing to improve global patient access. He brings experience as Chief Executive Officer of Lonza and as Head of Global Pharma Technical Operations at Roche, where he oversaw pharmaceutical commercial manufacturing and supply-chain operations, giving him a career that spans leadership of some of the world's largest biopharmaceutical manufacturing and supply networks.
