Peter Schueler is Senior Vice President of Drug Development Services for Central Nervous System programmes at ICON plc, a role he has held since 2015, directing large-scale global clinical development programmes and accelerating complex late-stage trials across CNS and psychiatry. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Medical and Safety Services at ICON from 2007 to 2015, as Vice President of Medical Affairs at PRA International from 2000 to 2007, and as Head of Medical Affairs for CNS in Germany at Pharmacia from 1995 to 2000. Alongside his industry role, he is Professor and Programme Director of Pharmaceutical Medicine at Charlotte Fresenius Universitat in Langen, Germany, combining a career in contract research with academic training of the next generation of drug developers.
