Senior Consultant – Ground Engineering

Omar Mahdy is a Senior Consultant at WSP in the Middle East, leading and contributing to the design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and complex high-rise developments across the region. He brings broader experience from projects across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Canada. His experience spans deep foundation systems, underground structures and tunnelling, excavation support, marine geotechnics, airport infrastructure, earthworks design and seismic hazard assessment. His work centres on the application of advanced numerical modelling, computational geomechanics and soil-structure interaction to inform design and address complex ground engineering challenges.
