Noura Abul-Husn

Chief Medical Officer

Noura Abul-Husn is Vice President of Genomic Health and Chief Medical Officer at 23andMe, leading the company's clinical strategy to integrate consumer genetics into everyday healthcare, and is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She previously served as founding Chief of the Division of Genomic Medicine and Clinical Director of the Institute for Genomic Health at Mount Sinai, and before that was Director of Translational Genetics at the Regeneron Genetics Center. A double board-certified internist and medical geneticist, she completed her MD, PhD and residency at Mount Sinai in New York and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Her research on using large-scale genomic data for disease prevention and clinical implementation has been published in journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, Science and Cell, and she has received a 40 Under 40 Rising Star Award as well as the Dr Michael S. Watson Genetic and Genomic Medicine Innovation Award from the ACMG Foundation.
