Mustafa Munye

Vice President of Operations

Mustafa Munye is Vice President of Operations at Complement Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing gene therapies for complement-mediated diseases including geographic atrophy. He has held leadership roles spanning the breadth of biopharmaceutical operations, from process development through to commercial manufacturing, gaining much of his industry experience at GSK and at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, where he led process and analytical development for AAV, CAR-T and pluripotent-stem-cell-derived therapy products supporting first-in-human and late-stage clinical studies. He studied at University College London, where his research background was in gene therapy and molecular biology, and has represented Complement Therapeutics at international investor events including the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
