Head of Roche Information Solutions

Head of Roche Information Solutions (RIS), the Roche unit responsible for data-driven digital solutions that connect the lab, clinical care and home settings, unlocking financial, operational and clinical insights across the care continuum. A German national, he began his career in the tourism industry building online travel booking engines before joining Roche in 2005, where he has led large and diverse organisations and teams across regions and divisions and driven digitisation projects and partnerships. He was appointed head of the newly created Roche Information Solutions in May 2021. He holds degrees in controlling and finance as well as marketing and international management, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Solutions delivered under his leadership include the navify platform and navify Algorithm Suite, a digital library of medical algorithms supporting clinical decision-making.
