Mohamed Nasser

General Manager MEA

Mohamed Nasser is General Manager for the Middle East and Africa region at Amgen, leading operations across five clusters and roughly seventeen countries on two continents. He joined Amgen in 2018 as General Manager of the GCC cluster before taking on his current regional role in 2019, and under his leadership the company has doubled the number of patients it serves across the region over five years. Before Amgen he held senior leadership roles at Abbott, including Commercial Director for Nutrition across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and General Manager for Greece. He also serves as Vice Chair of the executive committee for PhRMA Middle East and Africa, and has focused much of his work on removing barriers to equitable access to medicines through partnerships with private and government healthcare agencies.
