Metab Alkubeyyer is a consultant body MRI radiologist and imaging informaticist at King Saud University Medical City and has served as a part-time consultant and adviser to the Saudi Data and AI Authority since 2021. He graduated from King Saud University College of Medicine in 2003 and has been a consultant radiologist in body MRI at the Medical City since 2011, after a fellowship in advanced MRI in East Yorkshire in 2009 and a fellowship in imaging informatics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 2010. His expertise covers AI and machine learning, radiomics, body MRI and imaging informatics including PACS and VNA. He co-founded the Body Imaging Fellowship program at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in 2015 and was a founding member of the Society of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
