Mark Blanchard is Director at Orca Partnership, a consultancy that advises organisations across the life-sciences and healthcare investment landscape on business and leadership transformation. He is a chemist by training with more than twenty years' career across the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industry, latterly at AstraZeneca, where he held a series of increasingly senior positions spanning operations, procurement and R&D. He holds a BSc(Hons) alongside professional certifications including MCIPS and CA-AM, and works as a non-executive director, advisory board member and charity trustee alongside his consultancy work. He is also a training faculty member for Informa's Biotech and Pharmaceutical Mini-MBA and its Molecules to Markets programme, sharing his procurement and supply-chain expertise with the wider industry.
