John Faulkes

John Faulkes is co-founder and a consultant at PPMLD Ltd, a project-management consultancy he helped establish around twenty years ago to enhance collaborative working across the pharmaceutical, biotech and related service industries. His background is as an immunology scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, followed by a long career in HR and learning and development focused on cross-functional working and project-management effectiveness. PPMLD focuses on three areas: the Molecules to Markets educational programme, which helps companies build mutual understanding of how the pharma business operates; strengthening project management through consulting, team and leader coaching and training, particularly for biotech; and helping pharma companies manage alliances and outsourcing functions more effectively. He is a committee member of the UK's Pharmaceutical Industry Project Management Group (PIPMG).
