Chief Strategy Officer

Dr Greg Licholai is Chief Medical Officer at Syneos Health, appointed effective 1 June 2026 to lead the company's global medical and scientific strategic functions and advance technology-enabled solutions that accelerate drug development and improve patient outcomes; he had earlier served as the company's Chief Strategy Officer. A physician and trained neurosurgeon turned life-sciences executive and entrepreneur, he previously served as Chief Medical and Innovation Officer at ICON plc, where he was President of Symphony Health and Care Innovations, and before that was President of Rare Disease at Moderna Therapeutics and President and Chief Medical Officer at Castle Creek Pharmaceuticals. He also serves on the board of directors of the New England Medical Innovation Center (NEMIC).
