Beddingfield III, MD, PhD, is Chief Executive Officer and a board director of Rubedo Life Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company developing therapies that target senescent cells linked to age-related disease. A physician-scientist and serial biotechnology entrepreneur with more than twenty years of life-sciences leadership, he was founder, president, chief executive and a board member of Sienna Biopharmaceuticals, which he took public in 2017, and previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, a company later acquired by Allergan for 2.1 billion dollars.
