Daniel Hargrove
Co-founder & CEO
Daniel Hargrove is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of InterAct Therapeutics, a preclinical-stage biotechnology company launched in 2025 inside BioLabs at Pegasus Park that is developing AAV8-based gene therapies for metastatic cancer, with an initial focus on breast-cancer-derived liver metastases. He co-founded InterAct with Dr Isaac Chan after being impressed by Chan's work following Chan's participation in CPRIT's accelerator programme in 2022; the company's board includes former FDA Commissioner Dr Steve Hahn and former National Cancer Institute director Dr Kim Rathmell. A serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Hargrove previously co-founded Cancer Insight and Trauma Insight, both acquired in 2021, and as CEO of Emtora Biosciences moved a lead candidate from the laboratory into Phase II trials, secured more than twenty million dollars in CPRIT funding and negotiated a strategic licensing deal with Bioxcel Pharmaceuticals.
