Arturo Loaiza-Bonilla

Co-Founder and Chief Medical AI Officer; Systemwide Chief of Hematology and Medical Oncology

A medical oncologist and haematologist, and a prominent voice on the use of artificial intelligence in cancer care. He is co-founder and Chief Medical AI Officer of Massive Bio, a platform that uses artificial intelligence to match cancer patients with clinical trials. He concurrently serves as Systemwide Chief of Hematology and Oncology at St. Luke's University Health Network, covering fifteen hospitals across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He previously served as Enterprise Chair of Research at Capital Health and Vice Chairman of the Department of Medical Oncology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia, and has held faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Drexel University College of Medicine. He is an Associate Professor at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, has served as President of the Pennsylvania Society of Oncology and Hematology, and writes a regular column on practical applications of artificial intelligence in oncology.
