Dr Ansar Jawaid is Managing Director of Core Precision Ltd, a specialist consultancy supporting pharmaceutical companies, biotechs and start-ups through the development, approval and commercialisation of drugs and companion diagnostics. He also supports a large pharmaceutical company as a global regulatory-affairs leader in precision medicine. He previously held senior director appointments across R&D and commercial functions at AstraZeneca, where he supported the development, approval and commercialisation of eight medicines and their companion diagnostics and helped build the company's precision-medicine capability. He also serves on the boards of several start-up precision-medicine and diagnostics companies.
