Andrew Clutterbuck is Director, Technical and Scientific Solutions at Merck KGaA, where he has worked since 2011 and leads a team that delivers Merck Millipore's single-use and multi-use upstream, downstream and rheology technologies across Europe. He brings eighteen years of biomanufacturing experience spanning process development through to cGMP manufacturing, having worked for contract manufacturing organisations in the United Kingdom in a series of development and manufacturing roles that developed, scaled and produced biopharmaceuticals before he joined Merck. He is a regular industry speaker on the integration of continuous manufacturing and digitalisation in biologics production.
