Alexander Natz

Secretary General

Dr Alexander Natz is Secretary General of the European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (EUCOPE), which represents small and mid-sized innovative companies in Europe active in rare diseases, biotechnology and cell and gene therapy. He advises innovative pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including start-ups, on regulatory and pricing-and-reimbursement matters from both an EU-law and German-law perspective. From 2008 to 2013 he headed the Brussels office of the German pharmaceutical industry association BPI, and before that practised law at the Sträter law firm in Germany, focusing on managed-entry agreements and pharmaceutical licensing. He has also worked in competition law with the European Commission.
