Alec Reynolds

Senior Partner, Global Initiatives

Alec Reynolds is Senior Partner, Global Initiatives at Flagship Pioneering, where he directs the firm's global expansion and builds strategic partnerships across geographies. He joined Flagship in 2020, served as interim President of Cellarity, and then as Chief Operating Officer of Pioneering Medicines, responsible for its operating model and portfolio strategy. Before Flagship he spent more than twelve years at Celgene, rising to Corporate Vice President on the Global Project Leadership team, where he oversaw more than twenty late-stage development programs in hematology-oncology and inflammation-immunology, served as global project leader for Revlimid in multiple myeloma, and helped establish Celgene's operations in China, where he lived for three years. Earlier in his career he worked at the U.S. Treasury, The Carlyle Group and Morgan Stanley. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University.
