Ahmed Mukhtar is an Associate Director at BuroHappold, currently embedded within the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s Design Studio. With over 22 years of architectural experience in London at practices such as Foster + Partners and PLP Architecture, he brings deep international expertise to the Kingdom. Over the past five years, Ahmed has helped deliver key Vision 2030 projects with AtkinsRéalis, contributing to the Diriyah Company, New Murabba, Oxagon, and Misk City. Leveraging his Anglo-Arabic heritage, he bridges the gap between global and local teams, ensuring project communication captures the vital cultural nuances necessary for true collaboration.
