Mohammed Alnaim

Associate Professor and Cultural Heritage Consultant

Dr. Mohammed Alnaim is an Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at the University of Hail and a consultant specializing in architectural and cultural heritage. He holds a PhD in Design and Planning from the University of Colorado Denver. His research and professional work focus on Saudi vernacular architecture, cultural identity, architectural phenomenology, urban morphology, and the contemporary interpretation of traditional built environments. He has contributed to major cultural and heritage projects in Saudi Arabia as a researcher, technical reviewer, design adviser, and heritage specialist, with particular emphasis on translating regional knowledge, social values, and environmental context into contemporary architectural practice. His published work carries more than eleven hundred citations and includes studies of the courtyard typology in Najdi architecture and of the At-Turaif district in Diriyah.
