Dr. Al Sabbagh had graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1982 and had later obtained his Masters Degree in Architecture form Southern California Institute of Architecture, Dr. Al Sabbagh also holds a PhD Degree in Architecture from Beirut Arab University His area of research focuses on the continuous investigation of Ingenious discourses between Heritage and Contemporary Movements in Arab Cities, with focus on the city of Riyadh Dr. Al Sabbagh's experience includes thorough knowledge in promoting the highest standards of integrity, probity and corporate governance throughout the firm and particularly . at board and management levels His achievements include the building and modeling of the DAO KSA's company structure, providing inspired leadership to his executive teams, establishing a great working relationship with the public sector and high-profile clients, and setting a course for company's strategy, implementing effective policies and procedures. He joined Dar Al Omran in Amman in 1989 and has been a partner since 2001. His book on the discourse between heritage and contemporary architectural movements in Arab cities, taking Riyadh as its case, was launched at Beirut Arab University in June 2023, where he is a visiting professor.
