Abdullah Baaj, MD, PharmD, is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Oncology, LLC, a company he founded with Zeshawn Beg to acquire and develop intellectual property for chemotherapeutic and biotechnology therapies and to build joint ventures that locally manufacture these treatments across developing countries and emerging markets. The company's stated mission is to make class-leading biogenerics accessible to patients regardless of wealth, status or geography. Baaj began his career in 1992 as a researcher in molecular biology and genetic engineering at Massachusetts General Hospital, and has served as adjunct faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine since 2015.
