Sultan Al-Mousa

Blogger on the History of Civilisations

Sultan Al-Mousa is a Saudi blogger with an interest in the history of civilisations, producing content across his platforms that makes the history of ancient and medieval peoples accessible and connects it to present questions. His work rests on reading primary sources and scholarship and then re-presenting them in language that reaches a non-specialist audience without flattening the material, while citing sources and distinguishing the settled from the disputed. This kind of content has widened interest in history among younger audiences and opened public debate on how the past is read.
