Saud bin Saeed Al-Mutahami

Former Minister of State for Shura Council Affairs

Dr Saud bin Saeed Al-Mutahami is a former Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs. Born in 1958 in the village of Tabab, north-west of Abha in the Asir region, he holds a BSc in Mathematics from King Saud University (1981), an MSc in Computer and Information Science from Florida State University (1987) and a PhD in Computer Science from King's College London (1990). He served as a member of the Shura Council from 1418 to 1424 AH before his appointment as Minister of State for Shura Council Affairs, which he held until 1435 AH — a career joining scientific training in computing with legislative and government service.
