Lolowah Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Supervisor General

HRH Princess Loulwah Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Supervisor General of Effat University in Jeddah, and a daughter of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz. She helped found and develop the institution from its beginnings as a private women's college in 1999 — an extension of the Dar Al-Hanan school established by Queen Effat Al-Thunayan — into a university awarding degrees in engineering, architecture, computer science, business and the humanities. She is known for her long work in Saudi women's education and empowerment and for her role in cultural and charitable institutions inside and outside the Kingdom.
