Joseph Kéchichian

Dr Joseph Kéchichian is a researcher specialising in international relations and the affairs of the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf, and has been a senior fellow at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in Riyadh. His work addresses systems of governance in the Gulf states, questions of succession and leadership in Saudi Arabia, and Gulf foreign policy and international relations. He has published several books in the field in English, some since translated, and is among the scholars who have worked on documenting the lives of Saudi leaders and reading the development of state institutions.
