Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Waris Amin is a senior software quality assurance engineer working on the design and execution of test plans, the identification and documentation of defects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software. His areas of practice include the testing of AI-enabled software, mobile applications and over-the-top streaming applications, where test coverage has to account for behaviour that is not fully deterministic and for the range of devices and networks on which the software runs. He works with Testcrew, a Saudi quality engineering and software testing consultancy that provides testing, quality engineering and digital assurance services to organisations in the Kingdom, and his work covers the quality practices that accompany the adoption of AI features in production software.
