Ram Chakravarti

Chief Technology Officer

Ram Chakravarti is chief technology officer and a member of the executive leadership team at BMC, responsible for the company's technology strategy, product innovation and corporate development, and serving as its chief technology evangelist. He has most recently brought to market products at the intersection of AI and data in automation. Before joining BMC he was a technology operations executive at KKR, and earlier in his career he worked at McKinsey, Oracle, Ariba and several technology startups. He holds master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the Indian Institute of Science, and co-authored a book on research and development and IT portfolio management that is used in graduate programmes at the University of Pennsylvania and other institutions in the United States.
