Mashari Almusaed

Chief Information Officer

Mashari Almusaed has spent more than twenty years leading information technology and cybersecurity inside government bodies and major institutions in Saudi Arabia. He served as Director of Information and Communication Technology at the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee from December 2020 to December 2023, then led information security at Team Saudi through the end of 2025. He studied Management Information Systems at Rutgers University-New Brunswick in the United States and holds the CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, CEH and ITIL certifications, covering security governance, risk management and security operations centres. His work on technology transformation programmes has earned professional recognition, including IT Transformer of the Year in 2020 and CIO of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
