Ilias Michalis has a 31-year professional career managing, consulting on and participating in the design phases of major infrastructure projects, among them the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 in Singapore, the Doha Metro in Qatar, various phases of the Athens Metro, the Egnatia Highway Project and major highway concession projects in Greece. He completed his engineering studies at the National Technical University of Athens in 1988 and holds an MSc in Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology from Imperial College London.
