Ashraf Qasem is Chief Hospitality Officer at Al Othaim Investment Co. in Riyadh, where he leads a hospitality portfolio across development, feasibility and pre-opening operations. He brings over 25 years of experience in both operator and owner side roles across the GCC, the Middle East and North Africa, spanning the full hotel lifecycle from feasibility studies and management agreement negotiation through brand creation, financial modelling and long-term asset management. His core strengths include investment strategy and IRR, corporate governance and revenue optimisation. He holds an IFC Independent Board Member certification and a Cornell University certification in Hotel Asset Management, and is a certified member of HAMA.
