Marko Vucinic
Executive Director – Investment & Asset Management
Marko Vucinic is Executive Director of Investment & Asset Management at Knowledge Economic City in Madinah, with more than 20 years of international experience in hospitality and real estate across investment, development, asset management and business development. He has led projects in more than 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with a combined value in excess of USD 50 billion, holding executive positions at international corporations, government and semi-government entities and listed and privately owned companies. His earlier roles include Head of Hospitality at the Tourism Development Fund, Executive Director of Business Development at Public Investment Fund – Projects, Head of Investment at Al Rajhi Real Estate Investment, Senior Vice President at JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group for MENA, and Head of Investment, Valuation and Advisory at Colliers SEE, alongside spells at Cushman & Wakefield and HSBC. He holds an Executive MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, master's degrees in real estate from the University of Salford and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Originally from Slovenia, he has been based in the GCC for 13 years, the last eight of them in Saudi Arabia, and speaks regularly at MIPIM, IHIF Berlin, FHS and the Hotel Show.
