Dr. Yaser Al-Onaizan

Deputy CEO and President of Data and AI Models

Dr. Yaser Al-Onaizan is Deputy CEO and President of Data and AI Models at HUMAIN, and previously served as CEO of the Saudi National Center for AI. He spent five years at Amazon leading an AI language research lab of more than 100 scientists and engineers, and before that spent 15 years at IBM Research and the Watson group leading work on neural machine translation, speech translation, multilingual information extraction and medical coding. He holds more than 20 patents and has published more than 60 scientific papers, and led the development of HUMAIN's ALLaM Arabic-language model.
