Dr. Majed Alshammari

Majed Alshammari is Chief Executive Officer of National Data Governance at the National Data Management Office, the regulatory and reference body for data management and governance in Saudi Arabia, organizationally affiliated with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) since its establishment in 2019. He holds a PhD from the University of Oxford and has specialized expertise in privacy engineering and data governance, and oversees the development of national policies, standards and controls for managing and protecting data and monitoring compliance once they are adopted.
