Associate Director of Health and Wellbeing

Manal Shams is Associate Director of Health and Wellbeing at New Murabba, with more than two decades in the health sector leading national programmes and community engagement. Before joining New Murabba she was Senior Manager of Wellbeing Programs at the Royal Commission for AlUla. At the Ministry of Health she led the Health and Lifestyle Programme, devised the Stars Initiative to raise transparency in the health grading of hospitality sites, and headed community participation development, recruiting more than eight thousand volunteers and coordinating 300 initiatives in a single year. New Murabba is a new downtown district in Riyadh bringing residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, entertainment and cultural assets into a single urban fabric, where she holds the health and wellbeing portfolio.
