Multi Sports Medical Lead

Saam Falahati is a British physician and Multi Sports Medical Lead at Al Qadsiah FC, where he oversees integrated medical strategy across the club's competitive disciplines. He is a fully qualified general practitioner and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Glasgow School of Medicine, and has a special interest in medical education alongside sports medicine. He serves as Chief Medical Officer for British Wrestling and was elected to the United World Wrestling Medical, Prevention and Anti-Doping Commission. A UWW wrestling physician since 2019, he has been team doctor at two world championships and at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, and has published injury surveillance research comparing Olympic and beach wrestling.
