Carlos Magalhães

Chief Medical Officer

Carlos Magalhaes is a Portuguese physician from Porto and Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at Al Nassr FC, where he leads the first-team medical staff and the programmes for load management, injury prevention and return to competition. He obtained his specialist diploma in sports medicine in 2006 and worked before his move to the Kingdom at the Centro Hospitalar do Porto, alongside membership of international scientific bodies including the International Association for Ambulatory Surgery and the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Surgeons' Community. At the summit he speaks on the sports medicine and injury prevention panel for elite athletes, covering regenerative therapy, biomechanical analysis, in-season load management and building multidisciplinary medical teams in Saudi clubs.
